We’re proud to celebrate a fantastic achievement by John Stevens, Continuous Improvement Manager at James Chocolates, who has successfully completed his Yellow Belt – Improvement Technician Level 3 qualification!

This nationally recognised apprenticeship, delivered by Ian Hayhurst at CQM Training & Consultancy Ltd and certified by Occupational Awards Limited, focuses on developing core skills in process improvement using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

The Level 3 Yellow Belt program is designed for individuals who want to support improvement initiatives, reduce waste, and enhance efficiency across their organisation. It offers a strong foundation in Lean Six Sigma principles and tools, enabling participants to contribute meaningfully to improvement projects.

Throughout the course, John learned how to identify inefficiencies, analyse processes, and implement practical improvements. The training emphasises real-world application, allowing apprentices to bring immediate value to their workplace. Beyond technical skills, it helps build a common language for improvement, supports a lean-thinking culture, and drives productivity.
