Welcome to James Chocolates I started handmaking chocolates in 1995 because I’m passionate about food. Some years ago I experimented with blends of the finest grades of chocolate couverture (chocolate base) from Callebaut in Belgium and Valrhona in France. I settled on a particular formulation and this recipe forms the basis of our own cocoa-rich proper chocolate as well as our delicious milk and white blends. Our reputation has grown over the past decade but we’re not resting on our laurels. Every day we strive to produce the finest quality handmade chocolate creations possible. A small, dedicated team of chocolate professionals crafts around 150 different chocolates in the village of Evercreech in Somerset. We are continually developing new flavours and decorations and because each chocolate is hand crafted, each one is unique. We pride ourselves on producing unusual chocolate gifts with a range of price points which will sell all year round: have a look at our edible solid chocolate box filled with pralines and our giant mosaic bar – a full kilogram of nine chunky tiles of milk, dark and white chocolate. And of course, each year we will bring you new and stunning creations for Christmas, Easter and Valentine’s Day. Our speciality is our range of blends, sold in small bars for your customers to get a taste of what they like. Our recent innovations include Rose, Moroccan Mint, Strawberry & Black pepper and, for the very adventurous customer, Curry & Coconut and Absinthe!
